adult child moment-what was your's?

Yay! Welcome new members and hello to old members. It makes me smile inside to see people posting again and commenting. I get self conscious when I feel I am the only one posting. I worry that noone wants to hear me ramble on all the time but I do have many adult child moments and love having this lil community I created to share them.... so here is a new idea. I want people to tell me and the community if they had any adult child moments this week so far and what they were. I will be the first. Please comment with your own and we will try to do this every week.

Sunday I had a personal ad meeting with a guy. I did not know his age. I thought he had told me but either he lied then or I just did not ask. I met him and he was very nice and intelligent ad easy to talk to and laid back and we had some similar iterests but a half hour into it.... I found out by asking how old he was: he was 18! The adult child moment is that I did not really feel the gap. Here I am 36 and I felt the 18 year old was on my level. 18 is too young for me but the point is,,,,,, I feel like a lil child when I am with men much older than I or even a few years older. I would feel like I am with my daddy,,,,

So what was your adult child moment this week?

I constantly look at things I have done in the past, critique them and sometimes judge myself based on them.
When I was about 17 or 18 in 1998, I bought 2 baby bottles and filled one with chocolate milk the other with juice.
Of course no one understood me, thought I was silly and stupid. I don't know why I did it, it just made me feel good.
I would start buying toys for myself around this time, plush animals, dolls, candy and other childlike things (bright barrettes).
I don't know why all of a sudden I started at this time.
When I remembered back to when I bought the bottles, I started feeling self concious and like I shamed myself in front of everyone, but I guess now, it's not that big of a deal, maybe some people have done the same things as I have.

So, now I have a question that has nothing to do with what I was just talking about.
