She cries when she dresses up
Because she never feels pretty enough
She touches her painted face
And puts her earrings carefully in place
She stares into the void
of a mirror on the wall
Despite her own face
She dosent feel like anyone at all

And they told her that they loved her
One after another
The men all lined up to have their say
And they told her that no other
Would ever rise above her
What meant something yesterday means nothing today

A box under her bed holds the past
The story of a scared little girl
Who grew up way too fast
And she still dosent feel like anyone at all

And they told her that they loved her
One after another
The men all lined up to have their say
And they told her that no other
Would ever rise above her
What meant something yesterday means nothing today

And I told her that I loved her
But I was just another
Of so many promises that had never been kept
A hopeful new tommorow
Will try to help her follow
A dream come and gone away

Dear members I repoted acidangel. I wrote a letter to abuse live journal stating what had happened. It was scary for me to do this. I am so passive by nature due to my trauma and fears and feeling I should do nothing so I can avodi confrontation..that is teh scariest to me. This is what they said : The user has been told to cease that type of activity immediately. So if they do this again I will report them. I will keep our community safe.
